The Hanwei Museum Edition Saxon Viking Sword HN-SH2436 is a stunning reconstruction made by the swordsmiths at CAS Hanwei. This 9th century Saxon sword has been reconstructed using the same techniques used in ancient times by the Saxons and Vikings. The blade is made from a Damascus core and edges made from high-grade carbon steel, making it extremely sharp, durable and decorative. This technique was used by ancient swordsmiths to produce blades of the highest quality and thanks to Hanwei, we can now have access to a sword of such calibre.

The HN-SH2436 Viking Saxon Sword is based on a 9th century original that was found in Yorkshire, England in 1976. Today, this historical piece is on display at the York Museum. The swordsmiths at CAS Hanwei have managed to create a replica as faithful to the original as possible, and this sword is a true gem for any collector or sword enthusiast.
