Hanwei's Raptor collection is a series designed specifically for those who do not have access to a training facility, but wish to improve and perfect their technique in handling blades, under the auspices of sword master James Williams Raptor. Each blade is forged from 5160 carbon steel and undergoes a special heat treatment to ensure strength and the ability to withstand shocks much better than a conventional blade. In addition, the structure of the steel used makes them lighter, having the same weight and handling as the Japanese originals.

The Raptor Wakizashi has an overall length of 68 cm and a blade length of approximately 48.2 cm, with a handle length of 16.5 cm and a weight of around 680 g. It is historically faithful in blade design and is produced by James Williams (Hanwei).
