All longswords, bastard swords and early medieval swords have Tinker's special mounting system with hex nuts, allowing for easy blade changing with an Allen key, ensuring the handle remains firmly attached.

The Tinker - Sharp Bastard Sword features a rounded pommel designed to act as a second hand grip when needed, and straight cut quillons provide excellent hand protection. The handle has a hardwood core that is wrapped in rope, lapped with leather, and fitted with steel fittings.

Another notable aspect of this sword is its versatility. The one-and-a-half-handed swords (Oaksahott Type XVIIIA) are designed so that both sharpened and dull versions are available. Both versions provide the same feel and behave identically, making them ideal for training and combat.

With an overall length of approximately 109 cm and a blade length of 85 cm, the Tinker - Sharp Bastard Sword is available with a blade with a continuous diamond-shaped cross-section (product number HN-SH2400) or with a hollow throat around one-third of its length (product number HN-SH2411). The sword comes with a leather-covered scabbard for protection and storage.
