The Hanwei HN-SH2206N is a rapier that has been designed to closely replicate the Gustav II Rapier sword used by King Gustav II Adolf in the 17th century. The replica features an unusually designed, yet extremely effective, guard plate and its blade is made from flexible, hardened carbon steel, which will give it great durability over time. The size of the hilt has been perfectly replicated, providing an authentic feel when holding it and offering the same weight and balance as its original model.

The antique finish of the rapier is the result of a process developed by Hanwei, through which the stainless steel has been given a museum-quality patina that, without compromising its resistance to corrosion, adds an authentic and antique appearance to the sword.
