The Hanwei HN-SH2206N is a rapier that has been designed to closely replicate the Gustav II Rapier sword used by King Gustav II Adolf in the 17th century. The replica features an unusually designed, yet extremely effective, guard plate and its blade is made from flexible, hardened carbon steel, which will give it great durability over time. The size of the hilt has been perfectly replicated, providing an authentic feel when holding it and offering the same weight and balance as its original model.

The antique finish of the rapier is the result of a process developed by Hanwei, through which the stainless steel has been given a museum-quality patina that, without compromising its resistance to corrosion, adds an authentic and antique appearance to the sword. In addition, the possibility of changing the original blade for a dull training blade, designed for safe rapier combat, increases the versatility of this replica.

This artifact has an excellent overall length of approximately 114.9 cm and a blade length of 93 cm. Its weight of around 1049 g and its center of gravity, located about 12.7 cm in front of the guard, give it a perfect balance. The width of the blade at the guard is approximately 1.9 cm, while at the tip it is approximately 1 cm. The thickness of the blade at the guard is approximately 2.5 mm, these measurements being consistent with the original model. As an added detail, a leather sheath is included to protect the sword when not in use.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
