Yari Hanwei launches

Paul Chen's Yari was an essential Samurai weapon on the battlefields of feudal Japan, and due to its size and length required great skill to guide and maneuver.

This piece is for the Su-Yari, or "straight spear" design. The triangular double-edged blade was forged from T10 carbon steel and fitted with a deep groove on the flat side of the blade.

Through heat treatment, a clear hardening line (Hamon) on each cutter reveals. The tang is carried out long in order to ensure better shock absorption.

The shaft (UER) has a black lacquered surface and has a flat part at the bottom for better recognition of the blade position.
The durability of the spear is further enhanced by the one-piece construction of the rod.

This version features a long 16-inch (42.6 cm) blade.
