The blade of the sword has been forged from K120C powder steel, which is known for its high quality and durability. The blade has been folded and differentially hardened to achieve a combination of hardness and flexibility that is essential for any functional samurai sword. The blade has a long O-Kissaki, a hand engraved "Fudo"-Horimono and a Bo-Hi. The folding process results in an extraordinary surface grain (Hada) along the blade, which is emphasized by the pronounced hardening line (Hamon).

For the Tsuka, or handle of the sword, the highest quality ray skin has been used, and the Tsuka-Ito and Sageo have been woven from high-quality Japanese silk. For the ornaments, various metals have been used such as blackened bronze with relief embossing and selected details in copper, silver and gold. The Tsuba, which is the sword guard, shows the guardian spirits of the Shinto religion (Kami) and is made of hardened blackened copper with relief embossing, as well as decorated details in silver and gold.

The Saya, or scabbard of the sword, is painted a dark red color and has a black section in front of the opening, which imitates a curly coil. To protect the Samurai sword, the Kami Katana comes with a matching cloth cover and a traditional Japanese sword care set.

With an overall length of approximately 104.1 cm, a blade length of approximately 73.7 cm and a weight of approximately 1183 g, the HN-SH1201 Kami Functional Katana is an impressive sword. The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
