In terms of shape, the Viking axe head we offer here is classified as a Petersen type G. The blade of this axe is made of EN45 carbon steel and engraved with a Nordic motif. The handle is made of robust ash wood and wrapped in leather.

Please note that this early medieval axe is not a battle-ready weapon . It is primarily designed as a collector's or decoration/display piece and is in no way suitable for combat reenactment.
