As for the shape, the head of the Viking axe we offer here is classified as Petersen type D. The blade of this bearded axe is made of EN45 carbon steel and engraved with a Nordic motif. The handle is made of robust ash wood and wrapped in leather.

Please note that this early medieval axe is not a battle-ready weapon. It is primarily designed as a collector's or decoration/display piece and is in no way suitable for combat reenactment.
