The Hultafors Aby forestry axe is a beautiful hybrid with many types of use. Aby has a straight edge and grind, and a good finger notch under the head for increased precision. The long, slim ergonomic handle minimizes weight, while still giving you great force when striking. This axe is perfect for shelter building, firewood processing and carving, as well as for precision work.

The axe is hand forged and made of quality Swedish steel at the Hults Bruk forge. This axe is named after Åby, the nearest village to Hults Bruk, where many of the workers lived in the mid-20th century.
