The undead have found your hiding place and you are nearly cornered by an endless sea of flesh-hungry abominations. You can barely escape, but not without losing your weapon. You are practically defenseless.

You take refuge in an abandoned fire station, looking for a new weapon. Most people have thought the same, because the place is clean. However, you get lucky when you stumble upon an overturned desk. Beneath the mess you find an intact Fire Axe. Giving it a few test swings, you'll find that you like the weight of it, as it cuts straight through wood. It could come in handy.

 DETAILS

The Dark Moon Fire Axe is a versatile weapon, popular in the post-apocalypse. Designed to look like a real fire axe, this latex replica weapon features a red blade and a sturdy spike on the reverse side. The axe measures 92cm long, with a 13cm long head and a 10cm straight edge blade. The 10cm long reverse spike curves back like a claw. The axe head is attached to an 85cm long handle, designed to look like wood coated in black paint.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core, and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that this LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when creating your post-apocalyptic kit.

 HISTORY
The first hafted axe was created around 6000 BC using lashings of birch tar and rawhide to secure the blade to its haft.

The main use of the fire axe is to break down doors and windows.
