Cold Steel CST-90WVBB Viking Battle Axe

Although the Cold Steels® Viking Battle Axe was designed as a stand-alone weapon, it can also be combined with a Sword , Shield or Langsax .

It can cut, chop and stab so relentlessly that any Viking worth his salt would envy you for it. The axe blade is forged and has a wide, arched cutting edge that ends in two sharp horns or spikes. Thus, the axe can be used both for stabbing and parrying, as well as for hooking an opponent's shield or limbs.

As with the Cold Steels® Viking Bearded Axe, the handle is made of high-quality American hickory wood. And with a length of 76 cm, it offers enough space to guide it with both hands!

The carbon content and relatively small proportions of other substances in this steel make it a very stable material that is free from the brittleness inherent in most high-carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that are supposed to have high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large knives , machetes and swords.
