Gotland Viking Cross Axe, 10th Century - 0406354400

The axe was a frequently used weapon in the Viking era, like the sword and spear.

This replica of a Viking axe with the exotic cross shape on the axe blade was made based on a find from the Swedish island of Gotland.

The axe head is made of EN45 spring steel and has a blunt edge. It is fixed to the wooden shaft with rivets.
