Epic Armoury Hirdsman throwing axe as a latex throwing weapon, inspired by the throwing axes of the early Migration period. The fearsome Frankish tribesmen were known to break through the lines of Roman legions by hurling these hard-headed axes, splitting the legionaries' shields with devastating effect. Epic Armoury's version has a heavy single-edged blade shaped like a mundane utility axe of chestnut and garden wood grain decoration.

The Hirdsman Throwing Axe is a throwing weapon with a flexible core giving it weight and making it capable of being used as a proper throwing axe, which is made from durable closed cell foam and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be assured that your LARP weapon will provide you with the safety and appeal you desire when crafting your kit.

HISTORY

• Historically used by the fearsome Frankish tribesmen against the Roman legions
• Heavy-headed axes would be hurled at the Romans, splitting shields and breaking their lines.
• The first hafted axe was created around 6,000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to attach the blade to its handle.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the Customer .
