Gauntlets were used in the 15th century by cavalry, but more so by mercenaries and foot troops who wanted to protect their hands when carrying polearms. They were less mobile than normal gauntlets, but effective and provided very good protection. Perfect gauntlets for historical medieval reenactment.
Specs:
Made of 1.6m steel. The thickness of the steel may vary due to the artisanal manufacturing of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil.
