Any sane knight would cover his hands. Fiore dei Liberi, a 15th-century Italian master, wrote that he always used gauntlets in his duels because of the ease of losing a finger. Without a doubt, the gauntlet is one of the most complex pieces of a knight's armor, and almost always one of the most striking.

These gauntlets imitate the style of 15th century German gauntlets and are an excellent option to add a touch of elegance to your knight or mercenary equipment.

Specs:

Made of 1.2mm thick steel. The thickness of the steel may vary due to the artisanal manufacturing of our products. Carbon steel is not treated so it may rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil.

This item contains or has brass parts, which means that due to storage it may show traces of patina or grease stains. There are many commercial products that, after removing the grease, will leave the brass shining like the first day.

The leather glove is sewn to the fingertips and can be easily replaced or repaired. Knuckles and finger joints are decorated with brass pieces. This product is made of natural leather. It may contain wounds, imperfections or not be 100% regular, but this is proof of its authenticity. The roughness or color may vary slightly and the finish cannot be guaranteed to be identical from one product to another. Dyeing is done by natural methods and the final finish may vary depending on the original tone of the leather.
