 This glove (also called a Y-glove) for archers is made of brown leather, is worn on the left hand over the thumb and index finger and is fastened with a Velcro fastener at the wrist. If your bow does not have an arrow rest (which is not uncommon for historical bows), then this glove protects you from injury, as arrows are shot over the back of the hand and their feathers can cause injury.
