GAMBESON NECK MANTLE

Quilted cotton pad designed to add comfort and protection under your neck and shoulder armor.

Made from quilted cotton fabric lined with a soft polyester interior and a medium cotton outer layer, this cloak can be worn on its own or as padding beneath heavy steel or leather armor.

The RFB cloak is stitched to ensure that the padding remains evenly spaced. Secure it around your neck by tying the cotton strings at the shoulders, allowing for some adjustment. Padded armor was common in many cultures and was worn over a wide span of time. With its neutral style, the RFB cloak will work on a wide variety of characters.

MAINTENANCE

This medium cotton product is soft to the touch, but heavier than lightweight cotton. This material wrinkles easily, but can be ironed at a medium heat setting.

Cleaning

Machine wash at 40°C/104°F. Wash separately the first time and with like colours afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but be aware that shrinkage may occur up to 5%. For general stains or discolouration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner or dry with warm water and a soft cloth.
