Also called a buckskin doublet, the historical buckskin coat was developed from leather jerseys worn by soldiers during the Tudor era. The 17th-century sleeveless coat is a great choice for LARP events and historical reenactments. Crafted from fine suede, this leather jacket features a high collar and vents at the front and back so as not to hinder movement. The Renaissance buckskin jacket was typically worn by cavalry and officers, such as wealthy arquebusiers. The design makes it a great alternative to a gambeson under armor, or it can be worn on its own.

This item is made of natural leather. It may have small marks on its surface. The texture may vary from piece to piece. The item is dyed using traditional techniques, so the color may vary depending on the original tone of the leather.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used.
