GAMBESON

Long, padded sleeveless cape that covers the body from the shoulders to the upper thighs.

Made from quilted cotton canvas with a soft polyester interior and a medium cotton outer layer, this padding can be worn alone or as padding under heavy steel or leather armor. The suede lining with split leather on the collar prevents tearing or splitting with excessive wear on the armor, while adding extra comfort to the collar.

RFB padded armor is stitched to ensure the padding remains evenly spaced. This layer provides ease of movement thanks to the slitted front, back, and sides.

MAINTENANCE

This medium cotton product is soft to the touch, but heavier than lightweight cotton. This material wrinkles easily, but can be ironed at a medium heat setting.

Cleaning

Machine wash at 40°C/104°F. Wash separately the first time and with like colours afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but please note that shrinkage may occur up to 5%. For general stains or discolouration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner or dry with warm water and a soft cloth.
