Mont Saint-Michel pocket knife, Forge de Laguiole FL-1211-INSABMSM

UNESCO declared Mont Saint-Michel a World Heritage Site in 1979, the second most popular tourist destination in France after the Eiffel Tower. The beach at Mont Saint-Michel is one of the most beautiful in the world. The sand from this beach was used to create the shapely handle of this knife. Mixed with a natural resin, this sand now forms the unique handle of this knife. The blade is made from a steel made especially for Forge de Laguiole, called T12, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58.
