Lake Niá¥tsosjaure is a lake located in Lapland, Sweden, and several Viking treasures were found near this lake. Nord-Trá¸ndelag and Gjá¸vik are two towns in Norway where Viking treasures have also been found, including several swords.
Archaeologists have studied these swords and found that most of them belong to the group of swords known as "Petersen type G". This sword is believed to have been produced in the Sudreim region of Norway, in the early 11th century, and was used in battles in both Norway and England.
