MARTO's Claymore Greatsword
A claymore is a sharpened two-bladed sword that required both hands to wield and had a very long handle (at least a quarter of the weapon's length), which allowed the user to hold it without having to force the maneuvers or grasp it by the base of the blade. Used in combat on foot, it was designed to effectively attack plate armor and chain mail. They were used and developed by the Scottish highlanders, based on shorter sword models. In the 13th century these swords were wielded by the Scots in their fight against the English invaders.
