Sword Art Online is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where you can upload your consciousness into the game using the Fulldive "Nervegear" technology. Kirigaya Kazuto is already playing his alter ego "Kirito" in the beta phase of the game. This sword was forged by Lisbeth and is a replacement for Kirito's sword in Alfheim Online and is simply called the "long sword". It is much better than the great sword and Kirito only trades it for the holy sword Excalibur.
