Better than any ordinary blade, it strikes with the force of a heavy axe through the armour of your enemy’s legionary. With the perfectly shaped hilt, you can swing your blade with great dexterity. Perhaps you and your army can turn the tide against the Legion after all. DETAILS The 60cm Falcata is a single-edged latex sword inspired by the weapons used by ancient Iberian mercenaries. The 42cm blade is shaped to act like the head of an axe, delivering powerful blows, whilst the long cutting edge still allows you to stab and strike effectively like the best of them. The Falcata is a hand-made foam product, hand-painted to look like the real thing from steel, wood and gold trim. The 10cm hilt at the end of the Falcata is moulded in high realistic detail and is hooked, like the traditional weapon. The blade is made from durable closed cell foam around a solid 7mm fibreglass core - built with safety in mind! It is finished with a strong latex coating. The hilt is a maintenance free polyurethane mould meaning you will enjoy using this sword in your LARP game for a long time to come.
