The Boshin is an undeniably modern weapon that trades traditional features for sleek contemporary styling. The handle is coated with textured TPR and offers an ergonomic, non-slip grip. The guard bar dispenses with imaginative embellishments and is instead designed in a practical, pointed ellipse. In keeping with the clear, functional motif of the Boshin sword, the scabbard is made of wood with a black silky finish and wrapped with black faux leather and cotton cord.
