The Alfonso X "El Sabio" Sword from the exclusive "Heroes and Civilizations Collection" by Marto is a unique piece commemorating the 8th Centenary of the Birth of one of the most influential monarchs in the history of Spain. This sword faithfully recreates the characteristics of the Spanish swords of the 13th century, with an imposing and authentic design that makes it stand out among the rest.

The blade of the sword is long and wide, with two edges and a pointed tip, as well as a channel running down the centre that gradually decreases in the last third. The hilt is decorated with a silver-gilt plated hilt, with arms arched towards the blade, ending in pointed clovers and in the centre of the cross or guard, the arms of Castile can be seen on one side and the lion on the other.

The hilt or handle of the sword has a silver-plated over gold plating on the edges and flat surfaces and is cylindrical, almond-shaped and with a mesh overlaid in Gothic style. The pommel is silver-plated over gold in the shape of a fleur-de-lis ataurique, similar to those worn by Alfonso X on its edges. It is irregular in shape, with mesh also chiselled in the same style as the hilt.
