Eventide Belt Shield
Description"She had never considered her hips or thighs a weak point, but a week of training at the fighter's school had taught her otherwise. They ached as much as they had after a week of her mother's whippings. But she had learned well and smiled as she strapped the protective belt around her waist. Her teachers were in for a surprise."
Modern dark elves and the classic Svartálfar of Norse mythology inspire Epic Armoury's Eventide Belt Shield. The design arose from the fact that many leave the upper hips and waist unprotected, relying on breastplates and leg protection. It covers vulnerable areas with steel while maintaining high mobility with leather, ensuring you can move with ease. The shields are attached to a belt to ensure you can move as you wish, but if desired, it is relatively easy to modify and can also be strapped around the thigh.
