This shield is fully functional, designed specifically to be used. Made from 1065 carbon steel, with a blackened and tempered -50 s RC finish. Includes custom packaging and certificate of authenticity.

This soldier's shield is from the Battlecry collection by Windlass Steelcrafts. This small shield was useful in hand-to-hand combat during the Medieval and Renaissance eras. Its size made it ineffective against throwing weapons such as arrows and spears, but very useful for deflecting the blow of an opponent's weapons by binding their arms and hindering their movements.

This hand shield has undergone rigorous testing. The artisanal manufacturing of master blacksmiths makes this line unique.

Includes custom packaging and a certificate of authenticity signed by each blacksmith who touched your shield through every step of the forging process.
