Nakiri are often used for peeling, slicing and dicing vegetables. They have a thin blade back and at best a minimally bulbous cutting edge. They are very thin and therefore particularly fond of cutting. Although the Nakiri belongs to the Wabocho, it has a two-sided grind.
The knife's center of gravity is shifted forward, so less force is required when cutting. One-piece knife for professionals with a long, thin blade. Made from special AUS8 corrosion-resistant Japanese molybdenum-vanadium knife steel. The ergonomic handle made of ABS allows for completely controlled cutting.
Nakiri knives are mainly used in Asian cuisine for the preparation of vegetables and fruits, thanks to their double-sided grinding.
