If you are looking for a quality knife to use on your outdoor adventures, hunting or fishing, the Swedish Forest Fixed Blade Knife is an excellent choice. This knife is designed to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and is made from high quality materials.
One of the highlights of the Swedish Forest Fixed Blade Knife is its stabilised curly birch handle. This material is not only stylish but also water-resistant, washable and highly impact-resistant. In addition, the wood is treated by vacuum injection with a mixture of hardened methacrylates, increasing its density, making it insensitive to moisture, resistant to cracks and impacts.
If that's not enough to impress you, this particular model comes with blue-colored pigments incorporated into the mix, making it even more appealing. The result is a knife that's not only tough, but also beautiful to look at.
The blade, on the other hand, is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, which is a Swedish steel specially developed for knives. With a Rockwell hardness of 58-59 HRC, it is extremely robust and resistant to corrosion. The blade is approximately 10 cm long and has a thickness of about 3.5 mm, making it perfect for cutting.
Additionally, the blade is sharp, polished throughout, and has a satin finish. The combination of steel and sharpening results in a knife that cuts effortlessly, performs very well on all kinds of different tasks, and has good edge retention.
This Swedish Forest Fixed Blade Knife comes with a sturdy sheath made of 3mm thick vegetable tanned leather. The sheath has a particularly wide belt loop, a drainage hole and an eyelet for attaching a leg strap. This ensures that you can carry the knife with you while doing your outdoor activities without any worries.
