The Cold Steel® Spike Series Neck Knife is slim, lightweight and extremely robust. These neck knives have razor-sharp blades made of cryo-treated German 4116 stainless steel with so-called zero grind and deeply grooved, structured handles that are ergonomic and ensure a comfortable and firm hold. These neck knives are available with four different blade designs (Bowie, Drop Point, Tanto).

For better storage and security, each neck knife in the Spike collection is supplied with a Secure-Ex® sheath. Thanks to the sheath design, which is compatible with the Tek-Lok™ carrying system, the knives can also be worn on the waistband or belt.

4116 is a fine-grained stainless knife steel from Germany. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives . Its balanced ratio of carbon and chromium ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for outdoor and hunting knives. Cold Steels® 4116 stainless steel is cryo-treated. This low-temperature treatment ensures significantly improved strength, hardness and toughness and higher edge retention is achieved.
