Cold Steel CST-49HT Mini Tac Neck Knife with Serrated Blade, Plain Edge or Tanto Point

The Mini Tac® Collection neck knives from Cold Steel® are so slim and light that they can be worn virtually around the clock, both over and under clothing. They can be worn comfortably! Thanks to the robust ball chains and the sturdy Secure-Ex® sheaths, which were specially developed to store the Mini Tac® knives precisely but also to be able to draw them quickly and easily, these practical neck knives are useful as utility or EDC knives or rescue knife and ideal companion even in the campsite. Their versatility is almost inexhaustible.

Each Mini Tac® is equipped with slim, structured handles made of high-quality Griv-Ex™. They can therefore be worn flat and close to the body and offer an optimal gripping surface. In combination with the integrated sub-grip (fingertip), these handle scales give the hand incredible leverage and prevent the knife from turning. An extraordinarily secure hold is therefore guaranteed.

The stainless steel blades have been heat-treated according to the latest technology and finely polished to a razor-sharp edge. For their size, they are incredibly robust, which is partly due to the full-tang construction.

The Mini Tac® Tanto has a remarkably wide, rigid blade and a very robust, reinforced tip. This makes it ideal for piercing even hard and tough objects. In addition, the wide blade has a generous hollow grind and a particularly sharp cutting edge. The knife's cutting ability is therefore almost as good as its penetration power.

AUS 8A stainless steel
Cold Steel® has used the same expertly hardened Japanese AUS 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been tested exceptionally well and has proven over the years to be excellently suited for the manufacture of work knife blades – it is tough and corrosion resistant with good edge retention and also easy to sharpen.
