The knives are made of 8Cr13MoV steel and are available in three different blade shapes ( tanto , clip point and double edge ). To protect your precious fingers, each knife has a wide hand guard made of stainless steel, and the handle is optically based on the larger Leatherneck® models from Cold Steel®. These knives are delivered with a stable Secure-Ex® sheath to which a ball chain or a Cold Steel® C-clip can be attached.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel
8Cr13MoV has similar properties to AUS 8A and is a tried and tested steel that is ideal for the production of work knives. Cold Steels® own testing has shown that this high carbon stainless steel is hard and corrosion resistant. Like AUS 8A, it shows good edge retention and can also be easily re-sharpened.
