CPM 3V Steel
American CPM 3V has an extremely fine edge that is highly resistant to chips, and in recent years has proven to be very
popular with custom knife makers. Although expensive, this modern tool steel is amazingly tough and exceptionally wear-resistant.
It is a fine-grained powder steel, with a very uniform microstructure that gives it excellent impact resistance and
a fine edge holding performance and makes it perfectly suited for larger blades where extreme toughness is required.
