The Damascus steel blade (tang) is forged all the way to the handle. The guard and pommel are made of pewter. The wooden handle goes very well with the Damascus blade.

The terms Damascus steel or pattern welded designate a composite steel forged from two or more different types of steel. It is named after its birthplace, the Syrian city of Damascus, an ancient stronghold of stamped steel production.

As a common practice, a harder high carbon steel and a softer low carbon steel are repeatedly welded and crimped. The high carbon steel ensures higher hardness, better hardenability and greater edge retention, while the softer steel confers greater flexibility and tensile strength.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
