Haubergeon chainmail made of spring steel, ID 8 mm, untreated ULF-BTW-HG

A Haubergeon (= small Hauberk) is a half-sleeved, hip-length chainmail shirt . Ring armour of this type was already in use by the Celts and Romans and was used in Europe until the 14th century, when it was superseded by the plate armour of the late Middle Ages.

We call this type of braiding BTW (English = B utted T ensile W IRE).

The rings are untreated so they may rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.

Our Ulfberth Haubergeons BTW are available in four standard sizes (M, L, XL and XXL).

Individual size dimensions are measured at full stretch.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used.
