This type of chain collar ( English standards ) was worn in the late Middle Ages and was mostly sewn or nested onto clothing ( gambeson ).

The chain link By the way: This unriveted chain link is made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braiding is 4 in 1.
We call this type of braiding BTW (English = B utted T ensile W IRE).
