This fully articulated, wearable replica of late medieval armour , as worn in the 14th century, is made from 1.6mm steel and blackened on the inside for improved corrosion protection. It protects the forearms, elbows and upper arms, and the thrust provides the necessary mobility.
The armour consists of an elbow plate, a double-sliding hinged forearm tube and a double-sliding half-upper arm tube. At the rear there are three adjustable straps with brass buckles. Thus, an individual size adjustment can easily be made to the arm. In addition, there is a riveted leather strap with a buckle on the upper edge of the upper arm guard for attachment to a shoulder armour (called an armpit ) or gambeson .
These articulated arm guards are equally suitable for historical reenactment, LARP and costuming. They are ideal for late medieval and Renaissance backgrounds and will make your interpretation of a proud knight perfect!
It's a pair, so arm protection for both arms.
