The CST-88SYS is an oriental sabre that pays homage to the design of ancient ornate Persian blades. It is a true jewel of the Orient and a devastating cutting weapon. Its curved, broad blade, with a deep fuller, is beautifully polished and made from expertly hardened 1065 carbon steel. Perfectly balanced, it has been extremely finely hand-sharpened to ensure maximum effectiveness in battle.

The S-shaped crossguard is a distinctive feature of the scimitar and is decorated with elaborate engravings. The dark Malaysian saltwood handles are held firmly in place by three sturdy brass pins. The bulbous knob is another characteristic element and has a brass-lined hole through which a cord, string or bandage can be pulled.

The scope of delivery includes a hand-stitched sheath made of sturdy leather with a steel support ring. The mouthpiece and the scabbard cap are also made of steel and decorated with etchings. The total length of the CST-88SYS is approximately 97.8 cm, with a blade length of approximately 81.3 cm and a blade thickness of approximately 4.8 mm. The handle has a length of approximately 16.5 cm and the approximate weight is 1239 g.
