This beautiful leather helmet is a replica of the Gjermundbu Viking Helmet (named after a similar one found in a burial mound of a great warrior found on the farm of Gjermundbu in Norway) which was very popular during the Middle Ages. It dates back to the Vendel Age, worn during the Viking Age (ca. 875). This Norseman Viking helmet has the design known as a “spectacle helmet”, a mask that covers the eyes and nose forming a protective mask.

Usually made of riveted iron, this design is made of high quality dark brown leather, making it lighter and easier to carry, and riveted by hand.

This helmet fits most sizes. It is unlined so you can customize it with your chosen accessory.
