The massive heat feels like a cyclopean wave engulfing and suffocating every soldier standing on the barren ground outside the city of Etakia. “Defend your position! Hold formation!” your captain shouts. You watch as the guy standing near your left tightens his grip on his spear as a bead of sweat runs down your nose and fades into the dusty swarm of feet. In a flash of a second, the enemy will crash into the front shields, and you and your comrades will do what you’ve been trained to do. Slowly advancing like one entity, like a living machine. Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel, when it comes to historical armor. But steel also has disadvantages such as weight, inflexibility, and the need for constant maintenance to protect against rust. However, in this day and age, unless you're in reenactment or on the SCA battlefield, you simply don't need the level of protection that steel offers.

Here at Epic Armory we would like to introduce our Light Kit Edition Armors. Light Kit Armors are armors made from polyurethane, designed to look like authentic metal armor. Created with weight, comfort, and utility in mind, Light Kit Edition Armors are for those people who want to look like they are wearing authentic metal armor while still being comfortable.

To the untrained eye, these polyurethane armours are difficult to distinguish from their metal counterparts, however, they are more comfortable to wear and can be worn for long periods of time without discomfort. In fact, the flexible nature of this armour means that it can bend to the contours of your body in a way that rigid steel will not. Each piece is typically a quarter of the weight of its steel equivalent, allowing for faster movement with less fatigue. Each piece is hand painted with a durable acrylic finish and is detailed to look as realistic as possible. The maintenance-free finish will not rust like steel and can be worn in all types of weather. Adjustable leather straps and the flexible nature of the armour allow for comfortable wear.

This armor is perfect for a variety of uses such as LARP, cosplay, costume parties or theater.
