Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel, when it comes to historical armor. But steel also has disadvantages such as weight, inflexibility, and the need for constant maintenance to protect against rust. However, in this day and age, unless you're in reenactment or on the SCA battlefield, you simply don't need the level of protection that steel offers.

Here at Epic Armory we would like to introduce our Light Kit Edition Armors. Light Kit Armors are armors made from polyurethane, designed to look like authentic metal armor. Created with weight, comfort, and utility in mind, Light Kit Edition Armors are for those people who want to look like they are wearing authentic metal armor while still being comfortable.
