Functional Crusader Helmet 300418

This Crusader helmet was developed in the early 12th century, the Middle Ages of the Crusades. For nearly 300 years, men on foot and on horseback wore this type of helmet, sometimes over a chainmail or padded coif, other times as stand-alone protection. The emblem of the Crusaders was a Cross, which appears on the left side of the helmet.
