This chain hood completely covers the shoulder and is provided with an authentic square history section. In addition, the hood has a hinged triangular mouth guard to which leather straps are sewn on each side. The face mask, also called Kinnvaz, is lightly padded on the inside and covered with leather. This type of chain hood was particularly popular in the High Middle Ages (for example among Normans and Crusaders).
We recommend wearing a hood under the chain hood.

This unriveted chain ring braid is made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braiding is 4 in 1.
We call this type of braiding BTW (English = B utted T ensile W IRE).
The rings are untreated so they may rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.
