Burkhard Medieval Cloak, Unisex, Various

Capes were an integral part of the tunic throughout the Middle Ages and were worn by all stands. They were available with and without hoods and in many different lengths and cuts. The cape protected and warmed in bad weather. If the cape did not offer enough protection for you, you wore a gugel over the cape. This unisex cape, also called a wheel coat or half-circle coat, is made of cotton fabric and has a large hood.

It closes with a wooden button.
Cotton fabric is not water-repellent, but it can be treated with an impregnating spray and thus prevents light rain.
