A simple and attractive shirt adaptable to many periods. Ideal for layering under a doublet, collet or cuera. Roomy and generous to allow comfort and freedom of movement for the bravest of marksmen. Made from historical-looking cotton.
The Renaissance meant a major change in many areas of life, including clothing. For the first time, clothing was made, in the sense in which we now perceive tailoring. The plain old shirt was soon replaced by the staple of Renaissance fashion, the white shirt with a turn-down collar. These shirts tended to have wide sleeves and a bow at the wrists and neck.
