Henry Medieval Pirate Shirt, White 1280004910

This loosely tailored ruffled shirt is ideal for portraying a pirate or nobleman. It has a collar and a double-shoulder yoke. The shirt is gathered at the front and back of the yoke downwards and is therefore particularly comfortable in the fit. The neckline is laced and decorated with ruffles. The cuffs feature elasticated seams and a second layer of ruffles. The bottom edge is slightly rounded towards the side seams. The shirt is made of cotton and offers a pleasant wearing comfort.
Historically, shirts did not come into fashion until the late Middle Ages, when trousers began to become tighter and tops shorter.
By the Renaissance, the shirt had finally become an essential piece of clothing.
