Gothic chest and back armor, 1.2 mm steel 1016632918

This beautifully detailed replica of a late medieval suit of armour is hand-crafted and is made from 1.2mm (18 gauge) steel and consists of chest armour and back armour.

While the chest piece is fitted with three-way belly rings (or flaps ) to protect the hips, waist, groin and abdomen, the beautiful back is formed by a wide, flared culet The complete set consists of two wave-shaped plates, also superimposed, and protects the buttocks. Both the belly rings and the culet are articulated by means of steel rivets. Both the obverse and reverse show the undulations, filigree cutouts and multi-layered presentation that were typical of Gothic plate armour of the Late Middle Ages (15th/16th century). The inside of the armour is blackened for better protection against corrosion.

With this upper body cuirass, the two halves are connected to each other with adjustable 3 mm thick leather straps with steel buckles. It can therefore be precisely adjusted to a wide range of sizes. The straps and buckles are firmly riveted at shoulder height and on the sides of the chest plate and back plate.

It should be noted that this armour, although completely wearable, is not suitable for display combat. However, it is not only a great collector's item, display piece or decorative object, but is also excellent for the representation of a large number of historical, fictional or fantasy characters. Ideal for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage or cosplay, this plate armour will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior simply perfect.
