Cold Steel Sergeant Halberd
This halberd is often regarded as a ceremonial pageantry weapon that was used in the 18th and 19th centuries for officers and non-commissioned officers at the same time as a rank insignia. However, it was also a feared weapon of war.
Unlike its older brother (the Swiss Halberd) this Halberd was actually from the era of firearms and was adapted to deal with lightly armored opponents. It was lighter, faster, more agile and therefore a deceptively agile and effective weapon.
Cold Steels own interpretation of the sergeant halberd is the battlefield variant of this historical instrument. Despite elaborate, beautiful ornamentation it will soon remain a weapon of war. It is fully sharpened, remarkably stable and sturdy, and can be used as a cutting tool as a thrusting spear, as a hook for capturing, ensnaring or entangling, and!
Whether you are into historical reenactment or practice HEMA this sergeant halberd is a perfect addition to your collection.
