This Francesca axe is a fine example of a type of Frankish weapon used during the early part of the Middle Ages. Germanic armies also carried an axe of this type into battle and they were used both in hand-to-hand combat and as a lethal throwing weapon.
Our design has a rustic forged finish on the blade and curved wooden handle, making it fit perfectly in your hand.
